  • Monitored monthly on our monitored plans.

Organisations require a Kinatico Compliance account. Registration is a separate requirement from a working with children clearance.

How it works

What you’ll need

What you get back

  • Registered, current and active.

  • Registered, with conditions.

  • Suspended.

  • Disqualified.

  • Not registered, lapsed with unpaid fees.

  • Not found, no record located against the details provided. This may include teachers who didn’t renew their registration before expiry.

NOTE

The register shows when registration is current with conditions, and displays any notes. The conditions themselves are on the teacher’s certificate.

How registration works in South Australia

Teachers working in South Australian schools and early childhood services must hold current registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia under the Teachers Registration and Standards Act 2004 (SA). Employers must not employ an unregistered person to teach, and must make sure registration is current before a teacher starts.

Registration runs for up to five years and expires in January, with renewal due by 31 December the year before. Provisional registration is the pathway to full registration.

On our monitored plans, we monitor the register every month and alert you to a lapse or a new condition, including for teachers already on staff. On the Verified plan, it’s a point-in-time verification you can re-run whenever you choose.
