How it works

What you’ll need

PLEASE NOTE

For New South Wales and the Northern Territory, please contact us, because the process is different there.

What you get back

  • Current, with the clearance type and expiry date.

  • Not current: expired, suspended or cancelled.

  • No record found against the details provided.

Every state names it differently

The clearance exists because someone assessed the person’s suitability to work with children or vulnerable people. Each state runs its own scheme with its own name: the Working with Children Check in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, the Blue Card in Queensland, Registration to Work with Vulnerable People in Tasmania, and Working with Vulnerable People registration in the ACT. We match the request to the right scheme.

A clearance can be suspended or cancelled at any time, not only when it expires. On our monitored plans, we monitor the clearance every month and alert you if it’s suspended, cancelled or about to expire. On the Verified plan, it’s a point-in-time verification you can re-run whenever you choose.

A clearance can be suspended or cancelled at any time. On the monitored plans, Kinatico Compliance monitors it every month and lets you know.
