COMPLIANCE VERIFICATIONS
Serving without certification puts the liquor licence at risk, not only the person serving. We confirm a person holds a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate that’s valid in the state or territory where they’ll be working.

Every state and territory requires RSA certification for anyone serving or supplying alcohol under a liquor licence, and each runs its own scheme. Some certificates don’t expire. Others must be renewed on a set cycle: in New South Wales, for example, the competency card lasts five years and is renewed through Liquor & Gaming NSW’s refresher. Some require refresher training every three years.
We apply the rule for the state the person is working in, so a certificate that’s valid in one place isn’t assumed to be valid in another. The sighted certificate sits on the person’s record, ready for an inspection, and our team does the verifying rather than your venue manager at the start of a shift.
For states that require refresher training, set a re-run cadence in Kinatico Compliance.
KInatico sights the certificate and confirms it against the validity rules for the state the person is working in.
That depends on the state. Some don’t expire, some are renewed on a set cycle, and some require refresher training every three years.
Not automatically. We confirm it against the rules for the state where the person will be working.
