How it works

What you’ll need

PLEASE NOTE

Available for licences issued in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria. Not available for licences issued in Tasmania, the ACT or the Northern Territory.

What you get back

  • Current and valid, with the licence and classes confirmed.

  • Current, but the classes held don’t match those declared.

  • Not current, or could not be confirmed.

  • State not supported.

The right licence class for the job

A High Risk Work Licence is needed to operate high-risk plant and equipment, including rigging, scaffolding, dogging, forklifts and mobile cranes. Each needs a licence for that class, so this verification confirms the classes as well as the licence, and it’s confirmed with the register rather than only sighted.

Licences expire every five years and must be renewed, and a licence left more than 12 months past expiry means training and assessment again. A current licence is recognised nationally, so a licence from one of the five supported states covers work anywhere.

Need to keep track after the verification?

This is a point-in-time verification. Set a re-run cadence so the licence is confirmed again before it expires.
