You can’t direct or allow someone to carry out construction work until they’ve completed general construction induction training. We confirm that a person holds a genuine general construction induction card, known as the White Card.

With Kinatico, you get:

  • A verification officer sights the card.
  • Front and back photographed by the person.
  • Recorded against the person, ready for site access.

How it works

What you’ll need

PLEASE NOTE

A White Card doesn’t expire, but it can lapse. If the person hasn’t carried out construction work for two consecutive years, they must complete the induction again before returning to site.

What you get back

  • Current and valid.

  • Could not be verified.

Why the White Card matters on site

Every state and territory requires a general construction induction card before someone carries out construction work. The cards are administered under work health and safety law by each state’s regulator, and issued by registered training organisations once the White Card course is complete.

A card issued in one state is recognised in the others. There’s no single national database, so verification relies on the card’s unique number and issuing state. Our team does the verifying, so your site supervisor doesn’t have to do it at the gate.

Need to keep track after the verification?

This is a point-in-time verification. Set a re-run cadence that suits your organisation, so the White Card is valid whenever you need it to be.
