Frequently Asked Questions

CV Check Ltd (CV1) is now Kinatico Ltd (KYP)

Although we have a new name, our commitment to excellent customer service and our support for our leading RegTech and workforce management solutions won’t change.

Please see the FAQs below to get a better understanding of what has changed, and why.

What’s Changing?

The name of our parent company is changing from CV Check Ltd to Kinatico Ltd. The Australian company retains the same ABN, address, and bank accounts. CV Check (NZ) Ltd does not change.

Our stock code on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) will change from CV1 to KYP

When is this change taking effect?

The shareholders approved the change on Thursday, 13 October 2022. We officially launched the new name, and new website, on Friday, 14 October 2022.

Why change name?

CV Check (the company) originally developed a single product – the CVCheck screening platform. In 2021 we added Cited and Enable to our suite of solutions with the acquisition of Bright People Technologies Pty Ltd and we’ve continued to innovate and develop other complementary RegTech products including the OnCite mobile app.

Customers are unsure whether the term CVCheck refers to our product, or the company as a whole. As our company pursues an expanded vision as an innovator and aggregator of global RegTech solutions, we’ve taken the opportunity to evolve our identity to reflect that vision and make it clear where we are headed.

What about the company’s products and platforms?

Our product platforms, RegTech solutions, and our staff will continue operating as normal. The operation of CVCheck, Cited, Enable, and OnCite platforms continue unchanged and under the same ownership. Your login to each platform remains the same.

All of our teams, including our experienced support staff and their contact numbers, will continue in their current roles and the same staff are still here to help you, as before.

What about invoices and payments?

In coming months, you may start to see some small differences in how our invoices look, but our bank account details will remain the same. Please treat any request to pay invoices to a different bank account with appropriate suspicion.

Will email addresses change?

Our staff will all get a shiny new Kinatico email address but rest assured that any message sent to their old addresses will be delivered, as before.

Are existing contracts affected?

No. Only our name has changed. The company that entered into each contract still exists; and each contract is still binding on the parties. If a contract falls for renewal, we will likely take that opportunity to update the name on it, but there is no need to rush into a new contract now.
